Do you need a new sofa before the winter holidays? Let ME help you pick it out!

Dear Friends,

I have had a great day! The sun popped out and I reconnected with old friends and clients, and met new ones too.

I also wanted to remind you to put the event with celebrity designer Libby Langdon on your calendar for Tuesday, September 29 at 6:30 pm. The event is FREE and open to the public, and NO reservation is required. I wanted to clarify, since a few of you came in and asked.

Finally, I am announcing a new service called Saturday Sofa Clinic.

NEXT Saturday I am offering a limited number of FREE one-on-one appointments at FURBISH for those of you seriously considering a new sofa purchase. During these 90-minute appointments we will review sofa styles, fabrics, and what will work in your room. You can sit test everything we have in-store, learn about sofa construction, and get personalized advice on styles, fabrics, and detailing, from me!

We have had such great results recently putting together living rooms and family rooms with some of you right in the showroom, but it does take time, and I am not always available on a drop-in basis to work with people. I have ONLY 3 SPOTS available for Saturday, September 26, so if you need a sofa in time for the holidays, NOW would be the time to get started. Plan to bring your spouse with you if this will be a joint decision.

If you order your sofa by the first week of October, you could have it by Thanksgiving! How exciting! Please email me at design@furbishhome.com to request a time slot. I have 10:00 am, 12:30 pm, and 3:00 pm times available. I will fill these on a first come first served basis.

HGTV Designer Libby Langdon at FURBISH

Furbish Home is hosting an evening event featuring Libby Langdon, HGTV personality, interior designer, style maven, and author of the book "Libby Langdon's Small Space Solutions: Stylish Ideas for Every Room and Every Budget."

On September 29 at 6:30 pm Libby will give a presentation on "Living Large in Small Spaces," covering tips for designing small spaces, including rooms like powder rooms and guest rooms. She will answer questions about your design dilemmas and there will be a book-signing opportunity as well. The event is FREE and open to the public! Wine and other refreshments will be served.
