HGTV Designer Libby Langdon is Coming Soon!
Hi friends!
I just heard from Libby and she is SO excited to meet the FURBISH community. The Star Ledger will be running an article on her in tomorrow's paper as a lead up to the event, so check it out!
I hope you have your calendars marked. The event is this coming Tuesday, September 29 at 6:30 pm right here in the Furbish Showroom. Libby sent us a handful of preview tips from her new book.
Libby's preview tip #1:
DON'T stick with small rugs in small spaces. A small area rug can look like a postage stamp and make your room feel cramped, but using a large rug creates an extended visual line and gives the illusion of more square footage.

Rock and Water: Intimate Observations of Nature
Images by Maplewood-based photographer Joy Yagid invite us to reflect upon the beauty of variation inherent in some of nature's most basic materials. Abstract and unusual shots of "rocks" and "water" are visually riveting and represent some signature shots in Yagid's collection. The Artist's Opening is on Thursday, October 15 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Wine and cheese will be served.
